Student reeds are made according to the same strict criteria for reed cane selection and processing as professional reeds, with easy response, light pressure, intonation stability and a pleasant sound.

• Hardness tested cane – 11-14
• Flexibiity tested cane – medium soft
• Thickness of the cane  -  0.57-0.58
• Shaper forms :
•    Borgue - gives the reed perfect intonation, full tone, dynamic range and beautiful tone color
•    Angel - Provides ease of play, great intonation, and beautiful tone. ( best for Marigaux M2, Monnig etc. )
•    901 - Nice form with narower belly, easy response ( best for Marigaux 901, and large bore oboes )
•    Rigoutat -2  - Original hand shaper form from Rigoutat, full sound, perfect intonation, stable second octave
• Cane diameter – 10,5-10,75mm
• Cane – my selection from best cane each season
• Lenght -  72mm on 47 mm staple (71mm on 46mm)
• Scrape lenght – 10-10,5mm
• The reeds are disinfected with UV light.
• Each reed is well tested and ready to play.
